Welcome to TickerPod ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data we collect through our AI-powered stock portfolio podcast service.
By using TickerPod, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our service.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide to Us
When you use the TickerPod app, you provide us with:
- → Account Information: Your email address and password when you sign up with email. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email address you choose to share (with Apple, this can be a private relay address). Passwords are stored only in hashed form.
- → Stocks and Lists: The ticker symbols you add, the names of your stock lists, and your episode choices (content type, voice, and any custom topic you type).
- → Support Messages: Anything you send us when you email support.
Information We Create or Receive
- → Your Episodes: The title, script, key points, source links, and audio for each episode we generate for you, plus a count of episodes generated this month.
- → Subscription Status: Whether you have an active subscription, its plan, and its renewal or expiration date. Payments are processed by Apple; we never see your card or payment details.
Information That Stays on Your Device
- → Onboarding Answers: Your answers to the personalization questions during onboarding are stored on your device and are not sent to us.
Website Visitors
- → Waitlist Email: If you join our mailing list on tickerpod.ai, we collect the email address you enter.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- → Podcast Generation: To analyze the stock holdings you provide and generate personalized audio podcasts containing market insights, news, and analysis relevant to your specific investments.
- → Content Delivery: To make your generated episodes available to you in the app.
- → Service Communication: To send you important updates about our service, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support.
- → Service Improvement: To understand how users interact with our service and improve podcast quality, accuracy, and user experience.
IMPORTANT: We Do Not Sell Your Data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to provide and improve the TickerPod service.
Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:

- Speechify: Turns each episode's script into audio. Receives the script text only.
- LangSmith (LangChain): Records each episode-generation request (tickers, content type, custom topic, and the generated script) so we can monitor quality and fix errors.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions. Receives an anonymous account ID and your purchase history from Apple.
